  This was the second time All About Glass has come to our apartment.  We have large windows that have been there for 10+ years and needed to be replaced.  They came out to take measurements a few days after we first called.  Then within about a week, the windows were ready and they called to schedule installation.
  
  I was particularly impressed with the two gentlemen who did the work (Jacques and Miguel).  They were both very experienced and professional. (One of the men told me he had been doing this for 30 years...) They were very careful with the furniture that had to be moved so they could get to the windows.  
  
  All in all, this was an easy, stress-free job.  Price was reasonable.  I would recommend these guys, they know what they're doing.

  I'm glad my building management company recommeded All About Glass when my kitchen window leaked in the storm and took out a wood floor. They sent two technicians to take pictures and diagnose what was wrong with the window and to determine if it needed being replaced. Bruce (the owner) then took it upon himself to see if he could adjust it instead and save me lots of money for a replacement of the leaky window. He found that a broken clip that was supposed to seal the bottom was the issue and replaced it himself one evening.He sent his men back to add another clip to the middle of the window and adjust another window that was drafty. His men were also prompt,professional and amazingly neat in working at my apartment.So kudos to this company for getting it right. I have since scheduled another apointment with Bruce for my daughters apartment which had new replacement windows installed before she moved in and one never worked properly. I already know they will solve this problem and make her apartment as draft free as mine is now.

  I used All About Glass to repair my 20+ year old windows in a high-rise Jersey City apartment building. Replaced one glass, and cleaned and fixed 3 windows in total.

  Excellent service and everyone I dealt with is very professional. Bruce (the owner) actually knows everything you could imagine about glass/windows etc.

  Last but not least, a week after everything was done they called and told that there was an error in the calculation (we originally priced something that eventually haven't had to be done) and that THEY OWE ME money. Check arrived in mail next day. You don't see this kind of attitude these days.

  I would definitely recommend them to everyone and use them again myself.

  I asked this company for help when converting my two built-in A/C boxes into panoramic windows. The transformation work was done beautifully, promptly, in one session - it looks great both from the outside and inside. Furthermore, the windows have been so perfectly well enclosed into the open space that they are completely sealed off and neither let in outside air nor water.

  When being informed that the building code required the windows to look like A/C boxes from the outside, the window company's Bruce Macin came up with the unorthodox idea of printing a perforated picture in the pattern of an A/C on the glass of the windows - and within a two weeks had it all ready to install, which was done beautifully again. Throughout the process the workers have been very professional, punctual, and doing excellent work - I also very much appreciated that they too the initiative and were thinking "outside of the box". I will definitely return with any future work that I need done on my windows.

When there was a minor problem after the repair, they immediately scheduled a return visit at no cost (and no fuss) to address the issue. This was my third time getting service from your company and I am always pleased with the quality of work. Windows do a great gob reducing car noise and the overall city noise. Given that I am on the first floor, it really improves the quality of life.

  It is truly a pleasure to work with All About Glass. Bruce goes above and beyond for their customers. I work at a museum and another glass company in Brooklyn failed to meet our glass needs and Bruce, even when we were on family vacation, was on the phone with me everyday to make sure that our glass needs were met. Even when, not to AAG's fault, one of our very large pieces exploded in the oven, he was able to get the factory to make our glass in less than 12 hours, which totally saved the day due to our very tight exhibition schedule. We have used AAG for about 5 of our projects and continue to be our exclusive glass and mirror vendor. Whenever I needed samples of different products, AAG has quickly provided us with various samples and options.   I cannot recommend this company more highly. My first interaction was with Bruce (the owner) several months ago. He initially came to assess all the windows in my apartment which were decades old and in need of repair. Initially, my thought was to repair the windows and replace 2 storm windows that had broken during recent severe weather. When Bruce arrived he took measurements and answered my many questions about replacing the windows vs. repairing them. I felt his advice was given 100% with my best interests at heart and not at all in a way that was intended to upsell me into replacing my windows. We both agreed that my existing windows were in sad shape and not very energy efficient. 

  Bruce thoroughly inspected the windows and frames and pointed out several rotting pieces of wood that would have to be replaced and which were presently causing gaps around my windows where heat and air conditioning were escaping (which solved the mystery of why my windows were so drafty). By the time he was finished, I still had not made up my mind about whether to replace or repair my windows. I asked Bruce to give me estimates both ways.

  Over the next several weeks there were many communications (mostly in the form of emails) between Bruce and I discussing options, prices, and still much needed advice. Bruce was very patient and kept saying that he wanted me to be comfortable with my choice. He was true to his word and in the end made an agreement with me that took out several unknown variables in order to give me a firm, set price (there are many variables such as the degree to which wood is rotted and needs to be replaced, the difficulty of capping, wrapping old window frames, etc that you sometimes can't know until you have started the job). Because of Bruce's willingness to work with me, I made the decision in the end to replace all windows, replace wood as needed and have the exterior frames wrapped with metal.

  While I knew it was the right decision, I was still a little uneasy because I had not started with the set idea of changing the windows and braced for the cost of doing such...that was until the day they started the installation. Three very nice workmen came to my apartment and began the arduous task of removing the old windows and putting in the new. The minute I saw the first of the new quality windows in it's place, I immediately knew it was the right decision and that I owed a debt of gratitude to Bruce. It took an unexpected 3 days to install the windows and many unexpected things presented themselves (old windows were tarred-in in spots, frames were uneven and capping/wrapping much more time consuming, etc).  Again, true to his word, Bruce and All About Windows just handled the unexpected things as they arose and did a beautiful job of installation. I am now enjoying much more energy efficient, beautiful windows.

  I should also mention that I am in the business of renovating houses in the DC area and have myself had dozens of windows replaced so I know what it looks like when done right. Bruce and company performed the task like the professional experts that they are. If you are looking to have anything done with windows or glass - I would highly recommend this company.
